TAKE PART IN BLACK SUMMER COMPETITION

Feardemic is not changing its name to HEARdemic just yet but we absolutely could because we’re about to rock your world with a musical challenge for the ages. Our upcoming title DARK FRACTURE was dubbed one of the most anticipated horror games of 2022 and we want you to have a part in creating it by creating a remix!

Feardemic, as you may know, is a horror game publisher but that doesn’t tell the full picture. At the core of this company is a rock and roll soul and a musical DNA. If you’re a musician, remixer, or a DJ, we want to give you the opportunity to be part of this game project when it releases in late 2022.

Sadly, we couldn’t get our house band “The Feardemic Orchestra” a gig in Fortnite but we did manage to get them a gig at the body farm. “Black Summer” is a song you may find if you dig deep enough into Dark Fracture and it is the song that’s at the center of this competition.

Whilst we think the track is perfect in every way – we would like to provide the opportunity to remix the track to all budding musicians, remixers, and DJs out there in the most demonic way possible.

So let your creative energy flow and make some noise! The best remix will be included in the game and on the official soundtrack of Dark Fracture. Moreover, the top 3 finalists will each receive a set of world-renowned GRADO GW100 wireless headphones worth 249 USD each.

How does it work?

Visit our landing page at https://fearfest.online/bsc, download the stems (separated audio tracks) of Black Summer from HERE and create a remix. The song has to include at least ONE (1) element from the track. There are absolutely no conditions, genre requirements, or length restrictions except that it must be ‘G’ rated, meaning no nasty words. You are free to include extra lyrics, raps, or other cleared samples. Please save the track as YOURNAME X FEARDEMIC ORCHESTRA – Black Summer.

When your magnum opus is finished, you can submit it through the Google form HERE. Make sure to include real contact information so that we can reach you should you be declared a winner.

How long have I got?

You can submit your entries up until March 5th, 11:59 CET. Any entries submitted after that will not be eligible to win.

What’s next?

Well, you wait while our panel of judges, the very creator behind Dark Fracture, Nissai Becker of TWISTED II Studios along with The Feardemic Orchestra and Feardemic themselves choose the winner. The winning remix will be announced at Feardemic’s Fear Fest 2022 on March 15th so mark your calendar and keep your eyes peeled!

Twisted II Studio is an independent game development studio founded by Nissai Becker. It’s a studio with a passion for horror and scary attention to detail.
