Feardemic’s game showcase Fear Fest 2022 just took place on March 15, here are all the trailers and announcements.
The horror publisher Feardemic took chance this Tuesday to show us a multitude of their upcoming titles. We got a glimpse into the icy Terror: Endless Night, the eerie Dark Fracture, the vibrant Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows and heard an announcement for a fast-paced retro shooter Chapel 3-D: The Ascent. At the same time, Chapel’s predecessor, Cathedral 3-D, and the first part of the visual novel series from Titanite Novels, Perseverance: Part 1 went free to play, and DARQ: Dream Journal, a graphic novel based on the indie darling DARQ saw its release. The showcase went on without a hitch and with great musical backing, and Hunter Peterson guiding us between the segments made the whole thing smooth sailing.

Feardemic are not resting on their laurels post-FFF. Another event, not their own this time, is right on the horizon, and they're attending. On this occasion, they, in partnership with Indie Bandits, will be giving away 2 tickets to WASD, a game convention happening in the Tobacco Dock in London from April 7 till April 9. You can read all about the rules and how to participate HERE. Be quick though, the contest only lasts until March 31! Best of luck to all the participants! If you make it to the event, find booth GG2 2-4 and soon you just might face your fears in person. Recap: First, Nissai Becker from Twisted II Studio took us on a tour through the eerie and unnerving environments of the body farm from Dark Fracture. We saw some new footage and explored the underworld as he described what his game is all about. It was creepy and terrifying in the best way possible. Watch the Dark Fracture Fear Fest trailer below and wishlist the game here or try the free Prologue.

Then, the winter pulled us back into its cold embrace, as we explored the icy cold seas near the Arctic, in the all-new trailer for Terror: Endless Night. It was the first in-game footage of the game that we’ve shown and it gave us a better idea of what the game is really about. In a way, you could call this a reveal trailer. More than that, the lovely folks from Unseen Silence talked us through some of the footage and really painted a picture of what Terror is. Watch the Terror: Endless Night Fear Fest trailer below and, if you fancy it, wishlist it here.

In it, you will collect power until you’re as strong as the terrifying beast you controlled in Cathedral 3-D. You can wishlist Chapel 3-D here. He also announced a new update for Cathedral 3-D that you can play right now because the game went free to play at Fear Fest.

While in Cathedral you mostly shoot people and don’t ask questions, in Perseverance you’re able to shoot people and ask questions later. Right after, we heard that Perseverance: Part 1, the first part in the horror/ drama visual novel series is right now also free to play. You can check the game out right now!

From the gory drama into the world of wonder, we left the brutal setting of Perseverance and paid a visit to our little buddy Cosmic. The vibrant and dynamic metroidvania Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows, showed us some amazing new footage in a breathtaking trailer that had left us hungry and excited for more. After the trailer, Łukasz Wiśniewski from King’s pleasure talked more about the game and what makes it tick and let us get up close and personal with the titular mischievous being, Cosmic. About Dark Fracture
Dark Fracture is an upcoming psychological horror experience in which you’ll explore an ever-changing world where the unkind reality of the body farm and a world of horrors inspired by the works of ones such as H.R. Giger collide. Set in the late 90s in a forested area of the Northeastern USA, Dark Fracture brings you into the eerie environment of a body farm – a decomposition research facility. The game’s prologue came out to an enormously warm reception, soo much so that it was named one of the most anticipated horror games of 2022 by portal Bloody Disgusting. Dark Fracture is set to come out in late 2022 but you can try its free Prologue HERE. About Cosmic: A Journey among Shadows Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows is an action-adventure game set in a multilayered universe where light and shadow dictate its metaphysical rules. The player controls Cosmic, a seemingly cute yet mischievous being who lost his best friend - his own shadow. Now he must fight his way through space and time with the help of a shadow of a much greater beast, who isn’t too happy about their loss. About Terror: Endless Night Terror: Endless Night is a turn-based strategy game set in the cold seas of the Arctic circle in the XIX century. The game takes you aboard a rescue ship in search of HMS “Terror” and HMS “Erebus”, Royal Navy vessels on a mission to sail under the North Pole and reach East Asia. You were chosen to lead that expedition but let your son take your place and make a name for himself. Now he’s missing and you find yourself trapped in the middle of the Arctic Ocean, rid with immeasurable guilt. About DarQ DARQ is a critically acclaimed surrealist horror adventure filled with mind-bending puzzles and set to hauntingly beautiful music written by the ever so talented Wlad Marhulets, who also created the game almost entirely by himself. DARQ tells the story of a little boy named Lloyd who’s trapped in a lucid nightmare. Help him decipher the meaning of his dreams and find a way to escape from a nightmare he can’t wake up from. About Cathedral 3-D Cathedral 3-D is a fast-paced, arcade, single-player, endless arena inspired by the early 3-D shooters. Control a powerful, fire-breathing beast, defend your lair from hordes of puny humans, survive, and get the highest score! About Perseverance: Part 1 Perseverance: Part 1 is the first installment of a horror & drama visual novel about survival and redemption. It revolves around two different characters whose paths will cross in the middle of horrific events.
